Re: A Benefit for Cleveland Clinic
Thank you for so much fun last night-you were amazing. Wish the organizers hadn't escorted you off stage before questions could be asked, would have loved the opportunity. Thank you for taking time to share yourself with us!
I published my review of the night at http://elizabeth-richards.suite101.com/a-heart-to-heart-with-robin-willi...

Robin's Cleveland Clinic Benefit was a wonderful event - top notch! We were thrilled to attend, especially since my husband was only 12 days post-op, a testament to Dr .Gillanov, an outstanding CCF surgeon and caring individual. Robin is funnier than ever with a wit matched by none - my husband got a kick from comparing 'war wounds' with him, can't wait to see the pics - laughter IS the best medicine, THANK YOU Robin Williams! The food, catered by Sammy's, was yummy!

Robin you are truly a genuine person, down to earth and extremely thoughtful and caring.
Your show last night was fantastic, a different approach and yet still very entertaining. After your meet and greet around 11pm you still had enough energy to sigh a few more autographs and take some fan photos! That made my night, month, year...whatever!! I got to meet you 10 years ago when you came to The Playhouse and you acted the same way, not sure how else to put it but that you are a f***ing amazing person and I can't wait to see you again.
Love, your stalker from Cleveland.
Re: A Benefit for Cleveland Clinic
I hope this message gets to Robin: My name is Jan and I was told in October 2009 that I needed mitral valve repair. I started searching the internet and found that Robin had recently had valve repair/replacement surgery at Cleveland Clinic (I am originally from Cleveland) and that he mentioned the name of his surgeon, Dr. Marc Gillinov. When I read Dr. Gillinov's bio and found his expertise to be valve repair, I knew I wanted him to do my surgery. I had my surgery in February 2010 and believe I received the best possible valve repair. Dr. Gillinov is truly amazing! Like you, Robin, he has added many more years to my life and I will be forever grateful. I believe Cleveland Clinic is the best place to go for heart surgery! Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend the benefit this weekend. It is so generous of you to hold this benefit! I would like to take this opportunity to say: Thank you, Robin, from the bottom of my heart for sharing your story - it has changed my life!

I've been a fan of Robin my whole life. My wife and I will be going to this show in celebration of our 10th wedding anniversary and really can't contain our excitement. We simply can't wait, I know it will be a night to remember. Thank you Robin for blessing our living room with your comedic genius for so many years.
